What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. !

How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
Tough question on your closest relationships:
Is this relationship making me fulfilled or just less lonely?
This is a powerful and important question to ask yourself about your closest relationships.
What I've observed: A lot of relationships are continued only because they are making one (or both) individuals feel less lonely.
But loneliness reduction is the removal of a bad feeling, not the creation of a good one.
It will never fill your cup.
Harsh Truth: If a relationship isn't creating feelings of fulfillment, it won't last.
Find the rare people who fill your cup: Who are willing to crawl through the mud with you, to grow with you, and to build with you.
Find the people who create your fulfillment, not just reduce your loneliness.
On the power to choose:
"Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens." - Khalil Gibran
You choose how to perceive the world.
Choose wisely.
Phone hack that will change your life:
Grayscale Mode
We all need to fight back against the phone addiction that is destroying our attention and focus.
Grayscale Mode removes the colors to make your phone immediately less appealing and addicting.
If you have an iPhone, follow these steps:
- Settings
- Accessibility
- Display & Text Size
- Color Filters -> On
- Grayscale
If you want to be able to toggle it on and off easily, you can create a simple shortcut:
- Settings
- Accessibility
- Accessibility Shortcut
- Color Filters
If you triple-click the side button, you'll be able to toggle Grayscale on and off.
For non-iPhone users...
Grayscale Mode on Google Pixel:
- Settings
- Accessibility
- Color & Motion
- Color Correction
- Grayscale
Grayscale Mode on Samsung Galaxy:
- Settings
- Accessibility
- Visibility Enhancements
- Color Correction
- Grayscale
Since starting to use Grayscale Mode in January, I've seen my screen time drop and my focus rise.
A side benefit for parents: Your phone is immediately less interesting and addicting for your kids. I was shocked by how my son was naturally drawn to our screens from just a few months old. When I turn on Grayscale Mode, he loses interest.
Try it for a day. It's a massive life hack.
The importance of doing hard things:
I often write and talk about embracing friction in our lives. This is a simple explanation of why it's so important to do so.
A beautiful (very) short story:
The Egg
This is a wonderful short story from my favorite science fiction author of all time, Andy Weir.
Worth a few minutes of your time!
If you haven't already read his longer form works, you're missing out. You don't even need to be a science fiction fan to enjoy them. I cannot recommend Project Hail Mary more highly.
